null Centre for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) - CHILD/ADULT Seminar (November 21, 2018)

Adults are not (always) just big children: Understanding the modifying effects of age in transplantation.

Using examples of their work examining outcomes of solid organ transplant recipients, Drs. Foster and Sapir-Pichhadze will present studies illustrating the value of research including individuals across the entire lifespan. They will demonstrate how considering the modifying effect of age can shed light on disease mechanisms, generate new hypotheses and move towards improving outcomes.
