Congratulations to each of the following RI-MUHC investigators: 
    
Dr. Alan Barkun, inducted as Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. 

Dr. Susan Bartlett, recipient of the 2015 Women of Distinction Award, category Education, given by the Women's Y Foundation. 

Dr. David Eidelman, inducted as Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. 

Dr. David Goltzman, the 2014-2015 recipient of the CP Leblond Award presented by the Network for Oral and Bone Health Research. 

Dr. Ronald Gottesman, who received the 2015 Paediatric Chairs of Canada Award for Leadership as a Clinician Educator.  

Dr. Edith Hamel, who received the 2014 John J. Day Award of Excellence from the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Québec. 

Dr. Madhukar Pai, recipient of the Faculty of Medicine 2015 Haile T. Debas Prize. 

Dr. Vassilios Papadopoulos, elected President of the American Society of Andrology for 2015-2016.  

Dr. Louise Pilote and her former postdoctoral trainee, Dr. Mitesh Shah, whose paper was designated the winner of this year's Best Paper Award in the category of Clinical Science by the journal, Circulation. 

Dr. Constantin Polychronakos, who received the 2015 Paediatric Chairs of Canada Award for Leadership as a Clinician Investigator.

Dr. Barry Posner, recipient of the Canadian Diabetes Association 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award. 

Dr. Denis Sasseville, who received the 2015 Practitioner of the Year Award from the Canadian Dermatology Association. 

Dr. Charles R. Scriver, recipient of the 2015 Victor A. McKusick Leadership Award from the American Society of Human Genetics. 

Dr. Christina Wolfson, named to the McGill Faculty Honour List for Educational Excellence. 

Congratulations are also extended to:

Mr. François Schubert, recently named a Member of the Order of Canada, one of Canada's highest civilian honours. The award recognized his contributions to the advancement of pharmaceutical care in hospital pharmacies and his leadership in this field. Mr. Schubert recently retired from the RI-MUHC Administration.
