null Three RI-MUHC members named in the first-ever List of Canadian women leaders in global health

On November 20, the Canadian Society for International Health released its first Canadian women leaders in global health list and the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) was well represented. Three leaders from the RI-MUHC were named, all members of the Infectious Diseases and Immunity in Global Health Program and of the Centre for Outcomes Research and Evaluation:

Although women make up the majority of the health workforce worldwide, they remain under-represented in leadership and decision-making positions. Inspired by a broader global movement to recognize the achievements and expertise of women in global health, the Canadian list was spearheaded by Jocalyn Clark from The Lancet, Eva Slawecki from the Canadian Society for International Health and Sarah Lawley from the Government of Canada.
