Research Focus

My research focuses on studying the determinants of kidney transplant outcomes. I am particularly interested in identifying strategies to prevent immune-mediated injuries following kidney transplantation. Methodologically, I have experience in observational studies using large registries and single centre databases, health services research, systematic reviews, decision analyses, epidemiologic methods for evaluating diagnostic test accuracy in the presence or absence of a gold standard, as well as analytic methods capable of dealing with time-varying variables and competing risks.
