RÉSULTATS DU CONCOURS DES IRSC DE L’AUTOMNE 2018

Des chercheurs de l’Institut de recherche du Centre universitaire de santé McGill (IR-CUSM) entameraient 23 nouveaux projets dans le but d’accélérer les découvertes au service de la santé humaine, grâce au soutien des Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada (IRSC) dans le cadre du concours de subventions Projet de l’automne 2018.

« Il est très excitant de rapporter ce succès retentissant dans le concours actuel des IRSC. Le groupe de chercheurs recevant du financement comprend de nouveaux chercheurs, ainsi que des chercheurs chevronnés, dit le Dr Bruce Mazer, directeur exécutif et scientifique en chef par intérim de l’IR-CUSM.
Les nouvelles recrues inspirent énormément nos équipes à emprunter de nouvelles voies, ce qui constitue la recette idéale pour l’octroi de subventions. »

Pour le concours de cette année, 371 subventions de recherche et 18 subventions transitoires ont été approuvées à travers le Canada, ce qui représente un investissement total d’environ 277 millions de dollars. De plus, 14 subventions transitoires s’inscrivant dans une annonce de priorités ont été accordées, pour un total de 1 400 000 $.

Le programme de subventions Projet des IRSC a pour but de faire valoir les idées les plus susceptibles de faire progresser les connaissances fondamentales ou appliquées en santé, la recherche en santé, les soins de santé, les systèmes de santé ou les résultats sur la santé.
