Dr. Lorenzo Ferri is the principal investigator on a new grant to study esophageal adenocarcinoma
Source: RI-MUHC. Lorenzo Ferri, MD, PhD, senior scientist in the Cancer Research Program at the RI-MUHC, was recently awarded a new grant to study esophageal adenocarcinoma.
The study titled “Identifying Drivers of Therapy Resistance Within the Tumor Microenvironment of Esophageal Adenocarcinoma” was recently funded for $US 1.2 million ($CAD 1.5 million).
Dr. Ferri is the principal investigator, while several co-principal investigators on this 3 year award were also from the RI-MUHC, including Veena Sangwan, PhD, Swneke Bailey, PhD, Jonathan Cools-Lartigue, MD, PhD, and Morag Park, PhD.
