Challenges inherent to the execution of lifestyle-based randomized controlled trials

Performing trials wherein double blind or single blind designs are not possible present challenges that are magnified in a difficult funding environment. This is particular true for attempts to reduce bias. These challenges will be addressed using past and ongoing randomized trial designs.
