Topic: Using propensity score methods to estimate causal effects in non-experimental studies
This talk will provide an overview of the use of propensity score methods to answer causal questions in non-experimental. It will discuss key considerations, assumptions, and best practices for propensity score matching, weighting, and subclassification approaches, including diagnostics and sensitivity analyses. The talk will be motivated using an illustrative example estimating the effect of a suicide prevention program in Denmark.
