null McGill tops Maclean’s rankings for 13th straight year

Congratulations to the community at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre, whose innovative work again earned national recognition!

For the 13th year in a row, Maclean’s magazine has ranked McGill as the top university in Canada among institutions in the medical-doctoral category. Citing McGill’s long history of cutting-edge research, the magazine noted that that tradition continues today, highlighting, among other achievements, Dr. Nitika Pant Pai’s HIVSmart app that facilitates HIV self-testing and care in high-risk cities worldwide, the Healthy Brains for Healthy Lives initiative and the work of scientists from the Douglas Mental Health University Institute’s Translational Neuroimaging Laboratory who recently used artificial intelligence and big data to recognize the signs of dementia two years before its onset.
