What are the Pathy Family Fellowship Awards?
The Pathy Family Fellowship Awards provide financial support for highly qualified, promising post-RCPSC training fellows, enabling additional sub-specialty clinical and research training in adult healthcare. Fellowships prioritizing research and clinician-scientist training aligned with MUHC and RI-MUHC priorities are highly valued. The Pathy Family Fellowship Awards provides the opportunity for highly qualified promising post-RCPSC training fellows (MDs) seeking to acquire an additional sub-specialty in clinical and research training in adult healthcare. Applicants may apply as either a Clinician-Scientist or Clinician-Investigator.

Who is it for?
This fellowship is designed for MDs who aim to become clinician-scientists or clinician-investigators. Eligible candidates should be engaged in an FMHS-approved Postgraduate Medical Education at McGill University Fellowship Program.

  • Receive up to $48,500 in funding, matched by Department/Division funds for a minimum stipend of $70,000.
  • Gain support for research training in alignment with MUHC and RI-MUHC priorities, including areas like Brain Repair, Cancer Research, Cardiovascular Health, Child Health, Metabolic Disorders, Infectious Diseases, Injury Repair, and Respiratory Diseases.
