Dr. Dick Menzies, is the recipient of the 2019 Distinguished Lecturer Award in Respiratory Sciences from the Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health (ICRH) of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Canadian Thoracis Society (CTS). Each year, the Distinguished Lecturer Award Series honours outstanding researchers within the ICRH scientific research community who have contributed significantly to the advancement of science in their field of research both in Canada and internationally. Dr. Menzies is the director of the Respiratory Epidemiology Unit at McGill and a member of the Translational Research in Respiratory Diseases Program at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre.
