null Dr. Nada Jabado appointed to the Governing Council of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research

Earlier this week, the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Health, announced the appointment of six leading researchers to the Governing Council of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), including Dr. Nada Jabado, a senior scientist at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre and Professor of Pediatrics and Human Genetics at McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine.

The Governing Council develops CIHR’s strategic directions, goals and policies, approves CIHR’s budget, and evaluates the organization’s overall performance and achievements. The Council also provides advice to the Minister of Health and appoints Scientific Directors and Institute Advisory Board members. Read the press release here.
