Sujet : « Challenges with Analyzing Complex Outcomes: The Story of Successful Aging in People Living with HIV »

« Many important health outcomes go beyond binary measures of mortality and morbidity or even continuous measures of single constructs and pose challenges conceptually and analytically. One such outcome is “successful aging”. This presentation will demonstrate challenges and solutions related to this kind of complex outcome with an emphasis on matching methods to the question being asked about whom for whom. Participants ≥50 years of age (n=536) in the Positive Brain Health Now (BHN) HIV cohort were characterized as aging successfully or not and a variety of methods will be illustrated to identify those at promise. »
