Dr. Kris Jardon completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Université d’Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand, France, and his fellowship in Oncology Surgery at Institut Gustave Roussy in Paris. From 2004, he practiced at the CHU Clermont Ferrand, France, and in 2010 he was appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the Department of Oncology at McGill University, practicing at the Royal Victoria Hospital. He was the director of the McGill Gynecologic Oncology Residency Training Program from 2018 to 2020.

Dr. Jardon was kind and empathetic, a gifted surgeon, and a wonderful colleague. He was active in research, including the DOvEEgene study and numerous chemotherapy clinical trials. He was instrumental in the training of many residents and fellows who benefitted from his expertise as a surgeon and clinician. His care and compassion as a physician was greatly valued by the many patients he treated over the course of his career.

Outside of work, Dr. Jardon enjoyed photography, travel, and he was an avid athlete who enjoyed running, skiing, cycling, and competing in Ironman Triathlons. He was very devoted to his family, and he will be greatly missed by his children Samuel and Hannah, his parents, his sister, and his many friends and colleagues.
