Research Focus

My research focuses on epidemiology and outcomes research using different methodology approaches, including a collaborative self-management program with e-health dedicated to patients and guiding best practices for healthcare professionals. I conduct large and unique observational studies, in particular the Canadian Cohort Obstructive Lung Disease (CanCOLD), a longitudinal observational study which comprises a well characterized phenotype population of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) as well as matched non-COPD peers, extending across nine Canadian academic and clinical research institutions.
