Research Focus

My research focuses on the epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of severe viral lower respiratory tract infections in children. I actively engage in knowledge translation in my field by contributing to national and provincial guidelines on RSV immunoprophylaxis, influenza antiviral treatment, and SARS-CoV-2 diagnostics and treatment. I am the Co-Director of the MUHC Vaccine Study Centre. I am also a voting member of Canada's National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) and chair of NACI’s influenza working group.
