My research focuses on equitable healthcare delivery for children with diabetes and endocrine diseases, with an emphasis on resource-limited settings and underserved populations. My interests include social and ethnic determinants and disparities of diabetes care; point-of-care delivery approaches; and back-translation of local innovation to create successful reverse innovation in Canada and globally. As a member of the McGill Artificial Pancreas lab, I aim for technological innovation in type 1 diabetes that reaches youth equitably. I strive to incorporate research and clinical capacity-building into each project.
