Research Focus
My research focuses on genetic factors related to addiction, as well as the treatment of substance dependence. Using both quantitative and qualitative research methods, current studies examine the clinical and biological predictors of treatment outcome, illicit and prescription opioid dependence, brief interventions for substance abuse, and knowledge transfer to primary care.
