Research Focus
My research program involves clinical studies focused on sleep-disordered breathing with a focus on neurological disorders. I am studying obstructive sleep apnea in Parkinson’s disease – its effects on cognitive function and other symptoms, mechanistic features and therapeutic options. Methodology includes observational and interventional studies. I also study long-term non‑invasive ventilation (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; neuromuscular) and ancillary respiratory care of patients with neuromuscular disorders, including diagnostic modalities.
