Research Focus

My research focuses on understanding what matters most to patients with esophageal cancer. We're working to develop better ways to measure their experiences, including their symptoms, quality of life, and what they value most in their treatment. We're also exploring how to use this information to improve their care, by making sure their preferences are considered in treatment decisions and by developing tools to predict which patients are at risk for poor outcomes. Ultimately, we aim to ensure that esophageal cancer care is more patient-centred and effective.
