Research Focus

My research focuses on prosthodontic rehabilitation in oral oncology, examining its impact on functional recovery, return to work and social reintegration in patients with oral and maxillofacial cancers. I aim to reduce the physical and psychosocial burden of disease and improve patient-centered outcomes through real-world, pragmatic comparative effectiveness studies, while also investigating factors shaping care pathways, including smoking and alcohol cessation and access to psychosocial support, within the broader context of oral–systemic health interactions.
