Research Focus

My research focuses on improving outcomes for children with cancer and rare diseases. Caring for these children made me want to understand, at a deeper level, what moves the needle on their outcomes. With training in clinical epidemiology and health economics, and experience across Europe, Canada and the United States, I work on treatment optimization, long-term survivorship and the economics of health care delivery. I draw on a range of analytical approaches, including machine learning, to generate evidence that can inform clinical practice and health policy. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that every child receives the best possible care, both during treatment and in the years that follow.
