As research trainees, you have a crucial role in advancing team science.
Every day, your work advances our understanding of disease and impacts the diagnosis and care of patients. You are first authors of influential studies, valued members of research teams and winners of prestigious awards in your own right.
The section devoted to trainee accomplishments is a highlight of the RI-MUHC Annual Report, with good reason. “Our trainees are a key element of our scientific productivity and innovation, and we are honoured to play a role in preparing them to be the future generation of researchers and innovators,” says Dr. Rhian Touyz , Executive Director and Chief Scientific Officer of the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC).
Congratulations, not only to those nominated for the “Focus on our trainees” section of the 2023 RI-MUHC Annual Report, but to all of our trainees who contributed to the year’s work, helping to set our sights on more ambitious goals and raise the bar for health research!
