Celebrating an exceptional achievement for women’s health

Clinician and investigator Dr. Togas Tulandi is the 2024 recipient of the Rodolphe Maheux Award. Dr. Tulandi was recognized for his “exceptional achievement for women’s health in Quebec” at the annual meeting of l'Association des obstetriciens et gynecologues du Québec on May 3. 

Dr. Tulandi is Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and Associate Investigator in the Child Health and Human Development Program at the RI-MUHC. Additionally, he is Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Milton Leong Chair in Reproductive Medicine at McGill University.

Dr. Tulandi specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He has published over 400 articles, over 60 book chapters and 14 books. He has also won several awards, including: Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian Society for the Advancement of Gynecologic Excellence; Fellowship of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences; Certificate of Merit from the Canadian Association for Medical Education; Distinguished Surgeon Award from the Society of Reproductive Surgeons; Carl Nimrod Educator Award; Award of Excellence in Reproductive Medicine; and the International Federation of Fertility Societies Anniversary Recognition Award.
