Research Focus
My research is focused on improving quality of life for people with hearing loss by finding better ways to use current hearing technologies. I work on optimizing outcomes with cochlear implants and auditory brainstem implants, with the goal of helping patients get the most meaningful hearing possible. I am especially interested in treatment and rehabilitation options for patients with neurofibromatosis type 2, who often face unique and complex hearing challenges.
