Research Focus

As a respirologist and researcher, I apply epidemiologic methods to identify ways to improve the diagnosis and management of respiratory diseases. Recent work has focused on AI-based chest X‑ray analysis for the detection of tuberculosis, and partnering with Inuit communities to develop and evaluate tuberculosis training programs for community health workers in Nunavik. Past work has informed tuberculosis treatment and diagnosis guidelines for the World Health Organization.
