Source: LEAP and the McGill University Health Centre Foundation.
LEAP | Pecaut Centre for Social Impact has selected the MyHeart Counts Canada mobile application developed by Dr. Abhinav Sharma, cardiologist at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and member of the Research Institute of the MUHC (RI‑MUHC), for their Healthy Futures Accelerator. The goal of MyHeart Counts Canada is to get Canadians moving for improved heart health.
Dr. Sharma’s app uses artificial intelligence (AI) with real-time feedback and support to improve physical activity incrementally. LEAP is donating $100,000 to support continued development of the app through the MUHC Foundation’s Fix Broken Hearts campaign.
