Research Focus

My research focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of viral hepatitis, HIV, and other infectious diseases among underserved populations, with a particular focus on people in prisons. My research spans implementation science, health services research, and public health policy, and examines how health systems can better address the intersecting epidemics of infectious diseases, substance use, and social inequities that disproportionately affect people involved in the criminal justice system.
