Des équipes de L'Institut reçoivent 15.4 millions de dollars pour des projets de recherche

Des chercheuses et chercheurs de l'Institut de recherche du Centre universitaire de santé McGill (L'Institut) entameront 14 nouveaux projets dans le but d'accélérer les découvertes au service de la santé humaine, grâce au soutien des Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada (IRSC) dans le cadre du concours de subventions Projet de l'automne 2025. Les équipes de L'Institut ont reçu un financement total de 15.4 millions de dollars.
Pour le concours de cette année, 421 subventions de recherche ont été approuvées à travers le Canada, ce qui représente un investissement total d'environ 413 millions de dollars. De plus, 83 subventions s'inscrivant dans une annonce de priorités ont été accordées, pour un total de plus de 9 millions de dollars, et 17 prix supplémentaires pour un montant total de 450 k$.
Le programme de subventions Projet des IRSC a pour but de faire valoir les idées les plus susceptibles de faire progresser les connaissances fondamentales ou appliquées en santé, la recherche en santé, les soins de santé, les systèmes de santé ou les résultats sur la santé.

Leurs projets innovants, soutenus par ce concours, promettent d'améliorer considérablement les soins de santé au Canada dans divers domaines critiques », a fait remarquer la Dre Rhian Touyz, directrice exécutive et scientifique en chef de L'Institut. « Ces résultats soulignent l'engagement inébranlable et le calibre exceptionnel de la communauté des chercheurs de L'Institut. »
