Research Focus
My research focuses on assessing effectiveness and costs of emerging and established techniques that provide diagnosis and allow therapy for patients afflicted with digestive conditions such as ulcer bleeding, colorectal cancer (including screening), and both biliary and pancreatic diseases. I also study the development of guidelines to incorporate these techniques in everyday practice and monitor how these are taken up and applied to enhance contemporary standards of care.
