Research Focus

My research focuses on socio-cognitive factors supporting relational wellbeing. The main projects that I am currently carrying out at The Institute focus on the group therapies offered at the Montreal General Hospital MUSIC clinic (McGill University Sexual Identity Centre). These therapies support LGBTQ+ individuals and their families in their journeys to fully express their gender and sexual identity and counter the emotional distress resulting from societal underrepresentation. The methods I am using include quantitative and qualitative language analysis.
