Research Focus

My research focuses on clinicopathologic and molecular characterization of gastrointestinal and hepatopancreaticobiliary neoplasms, with the aim of providing diagnostic tools such as algorithmic approaches to studying clonal relatedness between synchronous and metachronous malignancies, as well as improving prognostication and therapeutic approaches to these neoplasms through better characterizing predictive and prognostic cancer biomarkers. I am also interested in the application of molecular techniques and artificial intelligence in characterization of inflammatory liver and gastrointestinal diseases.
