Research Focus
My research focuses on health care delivery for sick and small newborns in resource-limited settings. Specifically, I am interested in understanding how initiatives by parents and lay health workers can complement the care provided by nurses and doctors in low-income environments. The main objective is to improve the quality of community-based and hospital-based newborn care for underserved populations.
