Research Focus

I use a variety of methods (quantitative, qualitative, mixed) and knowledge translation frameworks to examine contextual influences on the implementation and sustainability of evidence-informed practices in perinatal health. My current research projects involve breastfeeding promotion and support, implementation of the WHO’s Baby-Friendly Initiative, and using communities of practice to enhance the uptake of nursing best practices in the neonatal intensive care unit.
