The FRQSC Étudiante-chercheure étoile award in the Fonds Société et culture category was awarded to Catherine-Lune Grayson-Courtemanche in December 2016, a tribute to the remarkable work that began with her fieldwork at the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya for her thesis in anthropology (2015, Université de Montréal). Her excellent research combines in-depth knowledge of the challenges to humanitarian initiatives in the Great Lakes region of Africa and anthropological analysis of rigorously collected data. Congratulations!
