On May 16, the McGill community gathered at the Faculty Club to celebrate innovation at the Seventh Annual McGill Clinical Innovation Competition (CLIC) and Awards Ceremony. Inspired by founding donor, McGill alumnus Raymond Hakim, MDCM’76, the competition was created to encourage members of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) to conceive and develop promising ideas that will have a direct and positive impact on healthcare. Courtesy of the McGill Departments of Paediatrics and Paediatric Surgery, two Pediatrics Clinical Innovation Prizes were added to the competition this year, making it even more special.

Researchers and trainees from the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) figured prominently among the 2024 winners and finalists. Join us in congratulating them upon their winning projects below, which have the potential to impact clinical care across the lifespan.
