The Extracellular Vesicle Network is multi-disciplinary collaborative research group with a common addiction: understanding and exploiting the use of Extracellular Vesicles. Our goal is to establish a working group of researchers to openly communicate and share expertise, protocols and resources.

This Inaugural workshop is dedicated to Rose M. Johnstone, best known for her discovery of exosomes, a key development in the field of cell biology. A pioneer of women in science, Johnstone was the first woman to hold the Gilman Cheney Chair in Biochemistry and the first and only woman chair of the Department of Biochemistry in McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine.
