Source: MedE-News. The McGill Interdisciplinary Initiative in Infection and Immunity (MI4) has announced the funding of a series of 12 interdisciplinary and multi-institutional projects that aim to tackle infectious and immune threats to human health.

This initial set of grants, valued at $150,000 per project, are led by principal investigators that represent both McGill’s downtown and Macdonald campuses, as well as the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC), Lady Davis Institute and Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital. The projects focus on four themes – antimicrobial resistance, emerging and re-emerging diseases, infections in vulnerable populations and diseases of altered immunity.

Congratulations to RI-MUHC grant recipients and their teams!
