Where: At the Centre for Translational Biology (CTB) – Glen site, 1001 Décarie Boulevard, RI-MUHC Auditorium, Block E, Room S1.1129

When: Tuesday, October 4, 2016, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This one-day symposium organized by the Proteomics Platform of the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) provides an excellent opportunity for the research community to learn about the state-of-the-art technologies available at the platform.  Throughout last year, the Proteomics Platform worked with more than 50 laboratories from various institutions including the RI, McGill University, the Montreal Neurological Institute, the Montreal Heart Institute, and other Universities across Canada. The Proteomics Platform is celebrating the successful collaborations with many outstanding researchers which generated valuable data and helped platform users move forward in their research. It is an opportunity for you to see how mass spectrometry can be integrated into your clinical and biological research.

This year we are pleased to present a keynote address from Dr. Ronald Beavis, Professor of Biochemistry and Human Genetics at the University of Manitoba. The 2016 symposium features presentations from Dr. Erik Joly, Associate Director, Cores and Development, Montreal Diabetes Research Center, Centre de recherche du CHUM as well as from other platform users on a broad range of topics.
