Aire de recherche
Ma recherche porte sur le développement de modèles (humain et animal) dans le but d'améliorer notre compréhension de la fonction visuelle normale et pathologique, de la rétine au cortex visuel. Mon laboratoire étudie également la caractérisation des modèles animaux des maladies humaines de la rétine, notamment la rétinopathie des prématurés, la dégénérescence maculaire causée par l'âge et la rétinite pigmentaire, dans le but d'élucider la pathogenèse de ces rétinopathies et d'explorer de nouvelles stratégies thérapeutiques qui pourront les éradiquer.
