Dr. Gerald Fried, an investigator at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre and the Edward W. Archibald Professor and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at McGill University, has been selected to receive a Meritorious Service Cross (Civil Division), to be presented by the Governor General of Canada.
