Research Focus

My research focuses on understanding the mechanisms underlying cognitive and behavioral symptoms in patients with neurodegenerative disorders, particularly Parkinson’s disease. The long-term goal is to develop a framework for understanding the many cognitive and behavioral phenotypes of Parkinson’s disease that takes into consideration genetics, pathophysiology, comorbidities and social factors.
