Aire de recherche

Ma recherche porte sur les facteurs comportementaux influençant la santé. J’étudie la manière dont les changements comportementaux (p. ex. suivre une diète, faire de l’exercice, fumer, prendre des médicaments régulièrement) et le bien-être émotionnel (stress, dépression, anxiété) peuvent aider les personnes atteintes d’arthrite inflammatoire et d’autres conditions chroniques à se sentir mieux ainsi qu’à mieux fonctionner. J’étudie également des manières de centrer davantage les soins médicaux sur le patient en collaborant avec des patients partenaires de recherche, en développant de meilleures mesures d’états rapportés par les patients et en améliorant la communication médecin-patient.
