The platform can do this for you !
Just bring us your gel or carefully cut out gel bands, in 1% acetic acid, for processing.

1 hr LC-MS analysis for resolved gel bands: 1-50 proteins expected.
2 hr LC-MS analysis for gel bands from lysates (e.g.: Western blot confirmation) : 50-1,000 proteins expected.

The platform will prepare your samples for LC-MS analysis.
It’s included in the price !
If your sample contains detergents or salts, we run it through a stacking gel to clean it up. Otherwise, we process your sample directly.
1 hr LC-MS analysis for “pure” proteins.
2 hr LC-MS analysis for proteins released from BioID beads (50-1,000 proteins expected).
3 hr LC-MS analysis for exosomes, cell lysates or other very complex biological sample (500-2,000 proteins).
Add $50/sample for advanced quantification using Pinnacle.

No need to release proteins from agarose or magnetic beads.

Exosomes
Sample preparation
Regardless of your chosen exosome method (Gradients, OptiPrep, etc.), our platform will process your exosome sample for mass spectrometry analysis.
Bring your frozen pellets to the platform and we’ll put them through a stacking gel which helps remove contaminants (e.g., salts, detergents, sucrose).
We then stack all your proteins into a single gel band and process them for LC-MS analysis.

2 hr LC-MS analysis (50-1,000 proteins expected).
3 hr LC-MS analysis (1,000-2,000 proteins expected).
Laser capture microdissection caps
Sample preparation
The platform can do this for you !
Combine caps for better protein data. Our record so far is 500 proteins identified from 500 cells obtained from 3 caps.
Just bring us the caps in 100% formic acid and we’ll prepare the sample for you.
It’s included in the price !
$200/sample (as many caps as you wish to combine) for 2-hr LC-MS analysis (50-1,000 proteins expected).
